Othniel A. Ikpibako is the Secretary of Kindhearts International Organization. He attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree (Second Class Upper Division) in 2008 and subsequently proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Abuja , where he obtained a Barrister at Law degree (Second Class Upper Division) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009. Furthermore, he obtained a Master of International Law and Diplomacy degree in 2015 and a Master of Laws Degree in 2018 both from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom). He is a Doctoral Candidate of International Law at the University of Lagos, Nigeria . Mr Ikpibako is the Principal Partner of Erudite Legal Practitioners, a law firm with bias for human rights, amongst others. Emphatically, Mr Ikpibako is an advocate of good governance and a defender of human rights. His passion for human rights has made him, between 2014 and 2018, to secure the freedom of eight inmates from both the Ikoyi and Kirikiri prisons on pro bono (free of charge) basis. Those whom the facts of the case revealed were truly innocent. Relevantly, right to health is a positive human right. Mr Ikpibako great interest in Kindhearts International Organization which is a channel through which the human right to health, particularly in relation to cancer, will find fulfilment.
