The Cardinals have been eliminated from the playoff picture. But this is somebody that could legitimately help the team.I actually think I would prefer signing Wacha over Shane Bieber. Even though Bieber will be less expensive due to his injury Albert Pujols Jersey, that injury is going to keep him out for a good portion of the 2025 season. Wacha should be ready to go right away in 2025, barring an injury of his own.I know its not a sexy move, but we as fans are going to have to lower our expectations a little. Its going to be a while before the Cardinals are World Series contenders again. But they can still make solid moves like this that can get them closer, while also tackling other important issues with the organization.
